Brian P. Grossbard, DVM, Dip. ACVS, a native of Florida, graduated with honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he received both his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Grossbard then completed a one-year internship in Small Animal Surgery, Critical Care and Medicine at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He went on to complete an intensive one-year internship in Surgery and a post graduate one-year internship in Neurology at Long Island Veterinary Specialists.
Dr. Grossbard completed a three-year comprehensive residency in small animal orthopedics, soft tissue and neurosurgery at Long Island Veterinary Specialists and is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Grossbard is certified in Stem Cell Therapy and is currently involved in research involving diagnostic imaging and surgery in patients with traumatic spinal cord injury. His areas of special interest include neurosurgery, minimally invasive orthopedic surgery and soft tissue surgical oncology.
