The Referral Process at LIVS

As a specialty and emergency hospital, we strive to give our referring partners an exceptional referral experience from start to finish. Our new referral portal is designed to take your referral experience to the next level with the ability to seamlessly refer patients 24/7, share medical records and imaging, stay up-to-date on patient status with automated notifications, and choose your preferred method of communication.

If you need assistance, View our Helpful Referral Portal Instruction Guide, which you can view in PDF format by downloading the free Adobe Acrobat reader.

Alternatively, you can submit an online referral form through our website.

To ensure we provide the best possible care to your patients, we continue to refine our procedures for effective and efficient referral relationships. Our Referral Relationship Manager (RRM), Bryan Bongiovanni, is here to strengthen the partnership between your practice and LIVS. Here are just a few of the ways our RRM can help:

  • Schedule a Lunch & Learn or case rounds with our specialists

  • Provide more information about our specialty services

  • Help set up a client lecture series at your practice

  • Offer resources to help train your technicians

  • Arrange on-site training with our doctors or technicians

  • rVetLink Questions and Account Management

Referral Communication

Thank you for choosing LIVS. We accept referrals 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Patients will only be treated for the condition which they are referred. Should other issues arise, you will be notified so that an appropriate treatment plan may be arranged. Routine procedures and general health care are services best performed by you and your staff, therefore these services are not performed at LIVS. We encourage all clients to return to their primary care veterinarian for follow-up care and to maintain an active relationship with the practice.
