Dr. Perri Wiggin
Dr. Perri Wiggin is a Long Island native from Huntington. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017 as a Capstone Scholar with Leadership Distinction, and later earned her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2021.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Wiggin completed a rotating internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists. She then pursued an ABVP Residency in Avian Medicine at the same institution. Additionally, Dr. Wiggin has received advanced exotic animal training in South Africa and at various renowned facilities, including the Roger Williams Park Zoo, the Wildlife Center of Virginia, Highcroft Veterinary Exotics Service, the University of Lisbon, Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists’ Exotics Service, Texas Avian and Exotics, and Red Bank Veterinary Hospital’s Exotics Service.
Dr. Wiggin is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians and regularly attends their annual conferences. Her clinical interests include exotic surgery, orthopedics, and endoscopy.
In her personal time, Dr. Wiggin enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and playing tennis. She shares her home with a dog, a dart frog, fish, and a family beehive.
